The fellowship supports graduate and post-graduate scholars with original research or applied research projects centered on accumulating Black cultural history. This program will support community-based research and engagement methodologies; cultural heritage design and development strategies; collective memory, memorial, and commemoration practices, among other things.

ULLI’s first fellowship begins this month and features one of the Graduate School of Design graduates from Harvard who will work with ULLI in the completion of her project, “Conserving Intangible Cultural Heritage - A Field Guide.”
